Marty Jol is being linked with Manchester City youngster Micah Richards for £5million. 

Richards is only 18 and sounds promising enough. Is he worth the cash though?

Haven’t seen enough of the kid so can’t comment on this one to much.

Rumours today are reporting that we are set to complete the signing of Chelsea star Damien Duff for £11million in the next couple of days.

Duff is apparently being offered a four-year-deal worth £60,000-a-week.

Great signing if it happens.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Spurs hot-shot Jermaine Defoe this summer to fill the space that will be vacated by the impending exit of Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Utd will have to offer somewhere in the region of £8million for Spurs to consider the move for the England forward.

Why do we want to let him go???????? He can offer us so much and will score wherever he goes….That’s my opinion anyway.

Tottenham Hotspur has continued their good pre-season form with another victory.

The North London giants defeated Nice 1-0 courtesy of a Lee Barnard goal in the 43rd minute of the match.

Striker Jermain Defoe again looked impressive but the big news was the welcome return of England international defender Ledley King.

We have added another fixture to our pre-season schedule, this time against Spanish side Real Sociedad

The home fixture is set for August 12 at 3pm.

The Spurs squad are currently in France on the start of their tour.

Tottenham and Celtic target Diego Tristan has given interested suitors seven days to make a move for him or he will set his mind on performing for current club Deportivo La Coruna for this season. Tristan said: “If, in seven days, things have not changed, I have decided to return to work in La Coruna. “I know that the operation is not easy, but I think that my exit is the best solution for all parties.”
