Dimitar Berbatov looks set to be fined by the Bulgarian Football Union following comments he made regarding Vice President Iordan Lechkov.
Berbatov, who was responding to comments made by Lechkov regarding the effort of the players in a recent match said: “If he (Lechkov) thinks so, we should let him play.
Lechkov responded: “He will be fined for his remarks in accordance with the regulations.”

Teemu Tainio is set to miss at least four weeks following his hernia operation this week.
Martin Jol said: “It’s a blow for Teemu. He had the operation on Thursday and I would expect him to be out for at least four weeks, probably more.”

Martin Jol we made life difficult for ourselves in their 2-1 victory over Portsmouth at White Hart Lane yesterday.
Jol said: “We made it difficult for ourselves because I thought in the first half we played some good stuff and scored early which helps obviously.
“They had a great chance late in the second half but it was a great save from Robinson.
“I knew it would be difficult but we stuck to it, the defence and goalkeeper were terrific and in the end on the chances I think we deserved to win.”
