Spurs 1- 0 Reading — Marty wants us to finish chances
Posted by admin under Latest News , Martin Jol , Robbie Keane , Jermain Defoe , UEFA CUPMartin Jol has told the lads to be more clinical after we got a 1-0 victory over Reading yesterday.
Jermaine Defoe and Keano were the worst culprits but we will forgive them now that we know it didn’t effect our top six aspirations.
Jol said: “We had three big chances early on and in the second half we had lots of chances to finish them off. We should have got three or four goals.
“This was a must-win game - it was a marvellous result.”
He added: “They had good chances too. They put a lot of bodies forward and took chances so credit to them.
“They are in the top eight because they are a terrific team who get a lot of men forward. They play good football. With their style it is always difficult and there is always pressure.
The SCUM GOONERS are on a downnnnnner lately and I still think we can catch them and get some CL football at White Hart Lane next season.
