Teemu Tainio

Fit-again midfielder Teemu Tainio is thrilled with his return to action following a reserve team outing this week.

He said: “It was a great feeling to be back out there, I had no problems from the injury and that gives me a lot of confidence, I know I’m fit now.

He added: “It’s up to the manager, it’s his choice, but from my part I feel I’m ready to go again,”

“Everyone wants to play and I’m no exception.

“We have a lot of quality players who have been doing well but if I’m selected I will try to do my best to help the team.”

Midfielder Teemu Tainio is back in training following his hernia injury and will give us some more options in the middle.

He said: “I start my training in the morning with the team, so I am back!”

“I’ve already done ball work and tackling so I am ready to rejoin the squad,”

“Every game you miss it is hard to accept, but European competition is something special. Hopefully there will be plenty more to come.”

Heres a little Teemu compilation I came across

Teemu Tainio is set to miss at least four weeks following his hernia operation this week.

Martin Jol said: “It’s a blow for Teemu. He had the operation on Thursday and I would expect him to be out for at least four weeks, probably more.”
